Regional Sales Representative – Food Industry

We specialize in high-quality, innovative frozen food products serving schools, foodservice operators, and distributors. We're seeking a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and driving growth. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region.- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and prospective accounts.- Promote and sell Kayfoods' frozen food products to schools, foodservice operators, and other customers.- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.- Manage sales leads, follow up on opportunities, and maintain accurate sales records.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support business growth.- Work toward established sales goals and contribute to expanding the company's market presence.

Qualifications: 1–3 years of sales experience required.- Previous experience in the food industry strongly preferred, particularly food manufacturing, foodservice, or food distribution.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.- Strong negotiation and customer service abilities.- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.- Must be based in the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, or CT).- Willingness to travel frequently for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
