WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
IN THIS ROLEThe Cello – Production Assistant will assist the supervisor in trouble shooting, making minor adjustments, and report any issues with plant equipment to achieve maximum levels of quality and production while minimizing downtime. Training will be “on-the-job” and in a fast-paced work environment. This vital position will also work closely with the plant operator, assistant supervisor, and maintenance staff. Alert maintenance staff, plant operator, and manager of all breakdowns Give updates on equipment statuses. Read and prepare work orders. Create logistics to perform work while coordinating with production, maintenance, and supervisors. Monitor production area. Respond to maintenance calls. Check code dates, work orders, and inspect equipment. Train new employees on how to safely work on or near equipment or heavy machinery. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe plant. Inspect work area. Perform clean-up using proper tools and machinery as needed. Responsible for notifying supervisor of any object found or pest sighted in the work area.
