Laundry Attendant We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join a busy hotel housekeeping team. This position is responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and maintaining hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:- Sort hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize clean linens
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or excessive wear
- Maintain proper inventory and organization of clean linens
- Restock linen and housekeeping areas as needed
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and laundry products
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Assist housekeeping staff with linen needs when necessary
- Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:- Previous hotel, housekeeping, laundry, or related experience is preferred but not required
- Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift approximately 2550 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in a warm laundry-room environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled
- Must be able to follow instructions and maintain a steady work pace
