Our client is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney in Tampa, FL to join a growing personal injury practice. This attorney will lead cases through litigation, develop trial strategy, advocate for clients, and serve as a key representative in the courtroom. The ideal candidate has significant litigation experience, strong trial skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results for clients.
Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution
- Meet with clients, provide case updates, and build trusted client relationships
- Evaluate claims and develop litigation strategies
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court proceedings
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure cases remain organized and progress efficiently
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing 6+ years of litigation experience
- First-chair trial experience strongly preferred (5+ jury trials preferred)
- Strong case evaluation and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
