Contract W-2A global bank is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Support VP to join our Trade Support Operations team in support of the Securities Financing & Equity Derivatives Desk. The Trade Support - Equity Derivatives Desk will collaborate closely with traders to facilitate their activities, accurately capture trades in our internal systems, generate reports to assess risks, validate market data, produce profit and loss (PnL) reports, and track positions for expirations and other life-cycle events related to the firm’s trading activities. The responsibilities of this desk encompass equity-based derivatives products.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Support traders by capturing trades accurately in the firm's internal systems.· Generate and run reports to assess and calculate risk exposure.· Validate market data to ensure accuracy and reliability.· Prepare and distribute profit and loss (PnL) reports.· Monitor and track trading positions for expirations and other lifecycle events.· Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.· A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Trade Support or as a Trader Assistant is preferred.· Familiarity with Equity Derivatives products and Payoffs· Familiarity with Medium Term Notes· Knowledge of various industry trading platforms and utilities (e.g., MarketWire, Sophis, Bloomberg).· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.· SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) and Series 99 certifications a plus Certificates, licenses, registrations (list of licenses required if Registered Rep
