APPLY NOWJob Description:
Own the Reliability That Powers the Energy Transition When a critical CNC cell halts in the Steam Turbine area, production—and the grid—feel it. You arrive, align with maintenance supervisors, and lead a rapid root cause dive across controls, mechanics, and process interfaces. You engage an external integrator, specify components, and author the purchase requisition. Before the fix is live, you’ve already mapped a proactive maintenance plan and a lifecycle cost case to prevent recurrence. That’s the kind of leadership we’re seeking in our 24/7 turbine manufacturing and repair facility.
Your Mission:
Be the go-to expert for CNC machinery, spin-balance facilities, and process equipment—diagnosing issues quickly and restoring capability.
Individually lead cross-functional projects that integrate outside vendors to boost equipment performance and reliability.
Develop data-driven recommendations on repair, replacement, or upgrade based on condition, lifecycle economics, and operational impact.
Implement proactive maintenance strategies on critical assets to cut risk and downtime.
Keep operations synchronized: communicate turnover responsibilities, brief managers and internal customers, and coordinate across shifts.
Prepare precise specifications and purchase requisitions, ensuring the right parts and systems are identified and sourced.
Expand and steward vendor partnerships for project integration and service repairs; manage existing facility service providers.
Champion continuous learning by sharing new methodologies and recommending fresh integration initiatives; provide occasional call-in support for off-shifts.
Profile We’re Looking ForPreferred education: AAS or BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline; equivalent combinations of experience, education, and certifications considered.
At least 10 years in manufacturing with strong CNC, PLC, and process equipment expertise; highly experienced candidates may be placed at a higher salary grade.
Demonstrated root cause analysis ability; AutoCAD or Siemens NX drafting experience is a plus.
Professional English, excellent people skills, and the presence to present effectively at all organizational levels.
Willing to travel up to 10% within the U.S. and internationally.
