Business Medical Coder
Location: 5775 Blue Lagoon Dr., Miami, FL 33126 Contract: 3 Months
Qualifications:
RoleReview of denial on adjudicated claim that is classified as a code edit denial. Request and review supporting documentation (medical records) when needed. Once review is complete contact provider by phone to provide rationale as to whether we will overturn (pay) the denial or if it is upheld.
Qualifications:- CPC-A with coding experience
- Knowledge/experience of CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding
- Comfortable with making outbound calls to provider offices
