Operating Room Registered Nurse

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse in Newark, New Jersey. In this clinician-centered role, you will deliver safe, compassionate perioperative care and collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team to support successful procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, verifying equipment and supplies, monitoring patients, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting care. Candidates should have an active New Jersey RN license, operating room experience, and current BLS and ACLS credentials. This flexible per-diem opportunity is suited to a dependable nurse committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, and respectful teamwork. Assignment details and schedule are coordinated with the facility. Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Assist surgeons and other clinical team members during operations. Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to changes throughout perioperative care. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and facility protocols. Document care accurately and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
