Here's What You Need Bachelor's Degree Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology or related field is required 3 months experience in cardiac rehab is preferred BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And CCES - Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist Upon Hire is preferred Or RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire is preferred Must possess knowledge of respective clinical area to include equipment used, infection control, criteria of standard precautions, national patient safety goals and all other skills related to patient care delivery.
