Senior Ice Technician

Position Overview: Spectate Group, part of the Nicholas Family of Companies, is seeking a Senior Ice and Facilities Technician to work closely with the Facilities Manager in maintaining the ice surface, Zamboni equipment, and overall facility operations. This role is responsible for ice resurfacing, monitoring ice conditions, and performing minor ice and rink repairs, while also assisting with facility inspections, repairs, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and refrigeration systems.

Monitors the condition of refrigeration skids, HVAC systems, and other critical infrastructure. Reports issues to the Facilities manager, when necessary. Executes maintenance tasks safely and professionally, following all established protocols Inspects facility areas for damage and complete or report repairs as needed Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)for work order completion Responsible for keeping all areas of the facility clean and organized. Maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards Adheres to all safety and security procedures Participates in after-hours on-call coverage in coordination with the Facilities Manager, Rink Attendant and Team Lead Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager and Regional Facilities Manager
