HVAC Operations Manager

What You'll Do: Lead daily commercial HVAC service and/or installation operations. Coach and develop supervisors and technicians through clear expectations, accountability, training, and support. Promote safety practices, OSHA compliance, toolbox talks, and near-miss reporting. Coordinate manpower, schedules, equipment, and other resources with internal teams. Manage labor efficiency, manpower planning, scheduling, and overtime. Oversee maintenance agreements, time-and-material work, and projects. Monitor estimating, costing, documentation, billing preparation, progress billing, cash flow, collections support, and performance reporting. Visit job sites to review safety, quality, progress, and project scope. Address customer concerns professionally and identify practical solutions. Drive process improvements that increase operational efficiency, quality, and profitability. What You BringAt least 7 years of HVAC experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility. Strong commercial HVAC service and/or installation knowledge. Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational resources. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with service-management software and Microsoft Office. EPA certification and/or an HVAC trade license preferred. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check. Ability to provide occasional after-hours support and travel to job sites as needed. Why It's Worth ItCompetitive compensation of $69.72–$76.93 per hour, or $145,000–$160,000 annually. Location & Schedule: This position is based in Mt. Crawford, VA, with travel to job sites as necessary. The role is full-time with standard operational hours and occasional after-hours support based on business needs.
