Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a PICU setting, exemplifying a dedication to providing high-quality care to critically ill children.
Qualifications
Must Have:
Minimum of 1 year of current PICU RN experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in post-operative cardiac care
- Proficiency in venous puncture
- Clinical Responsibilities
- On this unit, you will be involved in:
- Conscious sedations
- Care for patients with respiratory failure (including ETT, HFOV)CT placement
- Central line maintenance and care
