As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you'll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement.
Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills
- Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines
- Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques
- Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams
- Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols
Qualifications:- 21+ with HS diploma/GED (degree in human services preferred)0–1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services (preferred)
- Willingness for CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training (provided)
- Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization
- Must pass background and drug screening per MO law
- Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience
