Charleston, WVAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/ShiftThree 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on weekdays, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Job Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department with 24 beds, catering to a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics. The unit focuses on neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal emergencies, with a high emphasis on trauma and a significant psychiatric patient presence. RN will be responsible for providing safe and high-quality care to multiple high-acuity patients, utilizing advanced skills in emergency medical procedures.

Responsibilities: Manage and provide care to patients with acute medical conditions, including trauma. Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive care. Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition. Utilize electronic documentation systems as required.

Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience. At least 1 year of experience specifically in an Emergency Department setting. First-time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience.

Certifications/Licensure: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
