Seeking a part-time Illustration Instructor for the Pre-College Online program, who will teach and provide feedback to high school students in a remote, asynchronous format, focusing on nurturing their artistic skills and developing a portfolio through engaging online sessions and assignments.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging online lessons that include demonstrations, presentations, and group discussions
Provide constructive feedback and support to students, fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment
Develop course materials and assignments that challenge students creatively while being age-appropriateRequired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Teaching experience in a collegiate and/or high school setting
Demonstrated expertise in Illustration with a strong portfolio of work
Proficiency with online collaborative tools and learning management systems
Ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
