About the Vision Sweetwater Baptist Church is a local church with a global mission to share the gospel in everything they do. The Worship Pastor plays an instrumental role in exalting the name of Jesus Christ through individual and corporate worship. As the leader of the worship ministry, he serves alongside the senior pastor and the rest of the team as a shepherd to the congregation. The Worship Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for the worship ministry of the church. He is responsible for leading the church in worship and developing the music ministry, including the worship choir, instrumentalists, children's choir, and the audio and visual teams. Sweetwater is committed to excellence in everything, and the role requires a high musical IQ, but the next Worship Pastor prioritizes genuine worship over perfection on Sunday morning. About the Church Sweetwater Baptist Church was founded in 1832, and its mission is to exalt the name of Jesus through individual and corporate worship. Over the last 20 years the church has grown significantly to a congregation of over 400 in worship a week. Dr. Paul Noe has been their pastor since 2005. Dr. Noe leads a team of faithful and mature staff members that have incredible relationships with the members. The pastor, staff, and the members of the church are committed to reaching their growing city with the gospel. This newest building is equipped with Sunday school space, younger children's space, and a new choir room that mirrors the same size and layout of the loft in the sanctuary.
