Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM - 11:15 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Arlington, TxJob Summary: We are seeking a dependable Rebar Saw Operator to operate heavy-duty power saws and shearing equipment used to cut steel reinforcing bars (rebar) according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy-duty power saws and shearing machinery.* Cut and process steel reinforcing bars to specified lengths and measurements.* Safely load, move, and position steel materials.* Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials as needed.* Follow production specifications and safety procedures.* Inspect materials and finished cuts for accuracy and quality.* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating industrial saws, shears, or similar heavy equipment preferred.* Sit-down forklift experience required or strongly preferred.* Ability to work safely around heavy steel materials and industrial equipment.* Ability to read and follow measurements and production instructions.* Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned 2nd shift.* Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving materials.**If interested in applying, please select "South Dallas" as your hiring branch. **#zrsdal#Google#VIPStaffing
