Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients through virtual video chat sessions, offering a safe space for emotional expression and exploration. Facilitate discussions that help clients gain insight into their feelings, experiences, and relationships, aiding in their personal growth. Advocate for clients by assisting them in identifying and setting realistic therapeutic goals tailored to their needs. Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health statuses and develop actionable, personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work exclusively with stable adult clients who are pre-screened and assessed for suitability. Our client base includes individuals with low-acuity mental health concerns, ensuring a manageable caseload without severe cases. This focus allows for a supportive atmosphere where counselors can effectively promote healing and growth.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing. Strong interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and empathetic nature, are essential for effective client interactions. Proficiency in using technology and telehealth platforms to conduct virtual sessions and maintain client records. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is required, preferred candidates will have a proven track record of working effectively with clients in a virtual counseling environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 annually, based on hours worked.
