About the Role:
Group Benefits Account Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience. Position requires a Life & Health insurance license, and individual will fully service an assigned book of business containing small and mid-sized groups, working with Producers, customers, carriers, and othter internal and external partners.
Responsibilities:- Process carrier changes
- Claims handling
- Prepare renewal proposals and conduct renewal meetings
- Build open enrollment materials and conduct open enrollment meetings
- Market and place new and renewal business
- Communicate with clients regarding their policies
- QualificationsValid Life & Health Insurance License
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in group benefits within an independent insurance agency setting
- Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Strong team focus
- Required and Preferred Skills
- Experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management system
- Account Management within Group Benefits setting
- Customer service
- Independent agency experience
- Pay range and compensation package
- Compensation package includes competitive salary up to $100k depending on experience, excellent benefit package inclusive of health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, etc. This position is also a fully remote role, but the individual must reside in the state of Michigan
