Costing Construction Associate

Job Description: ResponsibilitiesCollect material cost information and maintain accurate bill of materials (BOM) for multiple residential modular product offeringsMaintain proper cost percentage by recommend required price changesDetermine fixed costs (e.g. Model requirements, Mandatory options) Plan for and record variable costs (e.g. raw material and labor costs) Review standard and actual costs for inaccuraciesAnalyze and report BOM marginsPrepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecastsAssisting in month-end and quarter-end inventoryIdentify and recommend cost-effective solutionsRequirements and skillsThorough knowledge of residential construction concepts and techniquesProven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar roleIn-depth understanding of manufactured homes businessComputer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detailStrong time management skillsIntegrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
