APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Project Manager-Sports Creative Technology (CT) seeks a Project Manager – Sports to lead the delivery of signal distribution and transport systems within a long-term, large-scale technology program in the Los Angeles area. This role owns the design, deployment and commissioning of IP and traditional AV systems while acting as the primary technical project management resource for the video transport scope. Responsibilities include supervision of all personnel and activities on multiple sports venue project sites, serving as an on-site CT representative at client office and client site, reviewing contract documents, facilitating internal project kick-off meetings, coordinating project execution activities, managing labor expenditures, soliciting quotes from subcontractors, generating and responding to construction communication, managing the change order process, inspecting installation work, testing installed systems, coordinating training with the client, and coordinating project turn-over to the service department.
Required skills include:
3-5 years of AV/Sports Broadcast or In-House Production industry experience, the ability to supervise and manage tasks and personnel, a fundamental understanding of AV system functionality and installation process, experience with AV over IP systems/SMPTE2110, the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical, personnel or other project related issues, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Basecamp, D-Tools and AutoCAD, Vectorworks, LudidChart, the ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondence, the ability to read and comprehend project technical documents, the ability to create and maintain construction schedules, the ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, effective time management and attention to detail, a valid Driver's License, the ability to travel up to 25% of the time, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
