1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1-3 years of OT experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Details Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds General patient population including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility cases Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMWeekend coverage required once a monthEPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems used
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy requiredAHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital preferred
- Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Additional Information:
- Provide individualized rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
- Collaborate as part of a cooperative, team-oriented care team
- Black scrubs required
- Report time between 7:30-8:00 AMFirst-time travelers may be considered
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
- Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
