The Mount Maker position at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston designs and fabricates mounts to support the museum’s diverse collections. You will create sturdy display solutions using metals and other materials, while minimizing visual interference and ensuring safety.
You will oversee the mount shop operations, collaborate with Conservators, Curators, and Registration, and contribute to project planning, budgeting, and best practices for handling artwork.
