Position Overview:
We are seeking dependable and motivated General Operators to join our Heat 3/Annealing department in Rockford, IL. This position is responsible for supporting heat treatment and annealing operations, handling materials, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials for heat-treat and annealing operations.
Monitor products throughout the production process.
Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Handle and move materials safely throughout the facility.
Follow work instructions and production schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Adhere to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
