Class A Driver

Premier Transportation seeks experienced Class A Drivers to support dedicated fleet and regional routes. In this full-time role, you’ll safely operate late-model tractors, manage on-time pickups and deliveries, complete accurate logs, and perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections. You’ll interact professionally with customers, follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations, and secure freight using best practices. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional and dedicated routes Complete on-time pickups and deliveries while meeting customer service standards Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations Secure and handle freight according to safety and company guidelines Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Follow all company safety policies and participate in safety programs Represent Premier Transportation professionally at customer locations Class A CDL operation FMCSA/DOT regulations Electronic logging devices (ELD) Trip planning Freight securement Defensive driving Vehicle inspection (pre/post trip) Time management Basic roadside troubleshooting Customer communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record (MVR) DOT medical certification TWIC card preferred Hazmat endorsement a plus
