Tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries. Others: Urology (limited assist), ophthalmology, endoscopy. Schedule and VolumeWork standard daytime hours, Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p. Handle variable volume daily across five ORs (one endoscopy). Expect 15-20 min turnovers, low infection rates. Perform first assist, pre-op chart checks (labs/clearances), next-day inpatient visits.
Compensation:
Base starts at $160K, scales with surgical first assist experience, supporting work-life balance with weekday schedule.
