Remelter Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Remelters for a metal manufacturing company in Watertown, SD. In this role, you'll help melt and refine metal used in the casting process while supporting safe, high-quality production operations. Operate furnaces used to melt and refine metal prior to casting Drain, transfer, and pour molten metal into molds using appropriate equipment Monitor furnace temperatures, gauges, and metal conditions to maintain specifications Inspect furnaces and equipment to identify defects, wear, or operational issues Remove impurities from molten metal and collect samples for analysis Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality procedures Assist with additional production duties as assigned High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and safety procedures Ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment Ability to lift up to 49 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds continuously Ability to work in extreme temperatures, loud environments, and around moving machinery Manufacturing, foundry, or furnace experience is helpful but not required Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
