This is an urgent need to cover shifts while a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is on a 12-week medical leave. - Suturing minor lacerations
- Responding to Trauma Alerts in the Emergency Department
- Performing surgical consultations
- Handling ER admissions
- Facilitating patient discharges
- Managing house codes and participating in the Rapid Response Team
- Completing FAST exams at the bedside
- Providing general surgery coverage from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and full 24-hour coverage on weekends
- Patient Demographics:
- Treat and stabilize patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
- Approximate patient distribution: 5% pediatric, 35% adult, 60% geriatric Certification and License Requirements Certifications Required:
