What You'll Do:
As a Risk Management Representative, you'll help municipal clients identify, assess, and mitigate risk while supporting effective safety and loss prevention programs.
In this role, you will:
✅ Analyze claim trends, loss data, and root causes to identify opportunities for improvement✅ Develop and present strategic risk management recommendations to municipal leaders and department heads✅ Conduct on-site assessments of property, liability, fleet, and workers' compensation exposures✅ Assist municipalities with implementing safety initiatives, policies, and best practices✅ Deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and safety meetings✅ Stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends, helping to develop new resources and educational programs✅ Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to support member success✅ Conduct field-based coaching and training for municipal personnel
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and enjoy helping organizations solve complex challenges. You can translate data into actionable insights, build trust quickly, and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, safety, loss control, or related fields
- Experience working with municipalities or public-sector organizations is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional designations such as ARM, CSP, ASP, or ALCM are a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, FM, and UL standards
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Certifications in OSHA Compliance, First Aid/CPR Instruction, or Defensive Driving are desirable
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Massachusetts
