Job Description:
CNC Mill Operator, 1st Shift: Rockford, ILWe are seeking experienced CNC Mill Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals with machining experience who thrive in a hands-on environment and take pride in producing high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC Mill and general machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and job routings
- Load, unload, and manage machine programs
- Inspect finished parts and complete in-process quality checks
- Identify and communicate production concerns or process improvement opportunities
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues as needed
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support team production goals and assist fellow operators when needed
Skills & Experience
Education: HS Diploma required
Experience:
5+ years of CNC milling experience required; experience working on CNC Doosan machines preferred Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints required; Experience with Fanuc controls required
Software: Strong understanding of G&M code required
