Patent Litigation Associate

Responsibilities will include: Preparing pleadings and substantive motions. Conducting legal and factual investigations. Preparing for and taking depositions. Working with technical and damages experts. Preparing claim-construction briefing. Supporting Markman proceedings. Conducting legal research on patent and procedural issues. Preparing matters for trial. Working directly with clients and technical personnel. Coordinating with attorneys across related IP disciplines.

About You: The successful candidate will ideally possess: Experience working on complex federal court litigation. Strong written advocacy and legal research skills. Discovery and deposition experience. Experience with claim construction would be advantageous. Strong academic credentials. Technical or scientific knowledge would be beneficial. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage substantial litigation workstreams. Illinois Bar admission or eligibility.
