Job Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality optical products by:
- Picking and unpacking lenses and frames for customer orders
- Preparing and loading lenses into production equipment
- Placing received materials into the proper inventory locations
- Operating manufacturing equipment while maintaining quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area (6S)
- Meeting daily and monthly production goals
- Following all safety policies, procedures, and production schedules
- Reporting production issues to management
- Assisting with material movement between departments
- Skills and Experience
Required:
Manufacturing experience preferred Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and self-motivated work ethic Good reading, math, and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and production schedules Preferred: Previous warehouse experience is a plus
