Includes 12% shift differential Job Store Staffing is now hiring for a Coating Technician I to join a leading manufacturing company in Boulder, CO. Position Overview:
As a Coating Technician I, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting optical components used in high-precision equipment. You'll support operations by ensuring proper setup and loading of coating chambers while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and inspect optical substrates for defects or contamination
- Perform spin cleaning on small optics
- Prepare parts and tooling for coating processes
- Load/unload parts into vacuum coating chambers
- Package optical components for next stage or shipment
- Read and interpret process documentation and work instructions
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control protocols
- Support 6S workplace organization practices
- Assist with basic incoming inspections
- Participate in ongoing safety training and procedures
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a process manufacturing or cleanroom environment at your most recent job required. Comfortable with physical work must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Background check and drug test required
