Job Description:
TIG Welders are responsible for welding cold rolled, stainless steel, and aluminum used tomanufacture solid state lighting fixtures.

Set-up and operate TIG welding equipmentDetermine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piecesPerform quality inspections of parts to produce productsStage completed product of skidsAct responsibly; maintain a safe working environmentQualifications: Advanced Welding certification or degree from accredited school is strongly preferredPrevious TIG welding experience with specific knowledge of heat settings and speedsExperience working with sheet metal, mild steel/stainless steel/aluminum a strong plusDimensional measuring and simple math competence; Basic computer skillsPrior experience using calipers, micrometers and other measuring toolsProven ability to read and understand blueprintsStrong verbal and written English communication skillsMaintain excellent attendance recordFlexible to perform overtime duties and adjust schedule when requiredAble to work within a team environment and perform other job related duties as needed
