Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing service department's policies, procedures, and operations. Participate in the development and implementation of quality care plans, including resident assessments, care plans, and treatment plans. Supervise and mentor nursing personnel, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure high-quality care is provided to residents. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by nursing personnel, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Participate in budget development, financial planning, and cost containment initiatives. Collaborate with other departments, such as dietary, social services, and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
