CDL-A Yard Hostler / Yard Jockey
Location: Neenah
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | 24/7 Operation
We are hiring an experienced CDL-A Yard Hostler/Yard Jockey to support a busy 24/7 yard operation in the Neenah/Menasha, Wisconsin area. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving dry-van trailers between our production facility in Menasha, WI and distribution center in Neenah, WI, as well as repositioning trailers within the individual yards as needed. Schedule This position requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule in a 24/7 operation. Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PMNight Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMWork 3 days one week and 4 days the following week Weeks 1–2: Day shift Weeks 3–4: Night shift The shift rotation then repeats
Responsibilities:- Safely move and position dry-van trailers between the Menasha production facility and Neenah distribution center
- Move and stage trailers within the yards as directed
- Perform yard checks and help maintain an organized, efficient yard
- Safely couple and uncouple trailers
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and facility personnel
- Complete required inspections and paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:- Valid Class A CDLSafe driving record
- Previous yard hostler, yard jockey, shuttle, or similar experience preferred
- Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight yard environments
- Ability and willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to safety
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced 24/7 operation
- Compensation$26.00 per hour
