APPLY NOWCDL DriverSea Breeze Food Service is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Driver to join our distribution team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality food products to our customers on time and in excellent condition. Our ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and represents the Sea Breeze brand with professionalism on every route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
- Load, unload, and deliver food products to customer locations according to scheduled routes
- Provide excellent customer service, including resolving delivery issues and maintaining positive relationships
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, payments, and related documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or mechanical issues immediately
- Assist warehouse team as needed with loading, staging, or organizing products
- Represent Sea Breeze Food Service in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B (with air brake endorsement) license for a minimum of 3 years.
- Clean motor vehicle record and ability to meet DOT requirements
- Previous route delivery or food service distribution experience preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs and operate hand trucks/pallet jacks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work early mornings, or overtime as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality service
Schedule: MondayFridayClosed: Weekends, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
