The facility provides coverage across general medicine, Maternal Child, and ICU service lines on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are organized to accommodate locum tenens clinicians across all assigned coverage periods.
About the Facility Location:
The surrounding area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and leisure activities suited to varied interests. Recreational options include camping, sailing, fishing tours, hiking, and an 18-hole golf course, alongside a marina and a maritime museum. The area provides diverse opportunities for clinicians during time away from clinical duties. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on an on-site basis during day or swing shifts, managing 14-16 patients per day with 8-10 admissions per shift. Clinical responsibilities include general medicine case management, consultation support for Maternal Child services, and coverage of ICU-level patients as part of standard hospitalist duties. No call responsibilities are required outside of assigned shift hours. Board certification, ACLS, BLS, DEA, and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens engagement.
