Senior CT Technologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Senior CT Technician to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services within our IT-enabled healthcare environment. You will operate advanced CT equipment, ensure accurate imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians for precise diagnoses. Responsibilities include managing imaging workflows, maintaining imaging systems, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You’ll mentor junior technologists and contribute to continuous process improvement in a collaborative, innovation-focused culture. Perform and optimize CT scans following established protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support accurate diagnoses Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment and related imaging systems Manage PACS/RIS workflows and ensure data integrity Maintain strict radiation safety and regulatory compliance Document procedures and maintain accurate patient imaging records Mentor and support junior CT technologists Participate in quality improvement and protocol optimization initiatives Coordinate with IT and equipment vendors for basic technical issues CT imaging operation Radiologic technology PACS/RIS systems DICOM standards Radiation safety Patient positioning Image quality optimization Equipment troubleshooting Clinical workflow management Regulatory compliance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT (R) certification ARRT (CT) post-primary certification State radiologic technologist license (as applicable) BLS certification
