Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Medical City Healthcare seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting our finance-focused digital health clients. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform complex nuclear medicine scans, and ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation. Collaborating closely with physicians, physicists, and data teams, you’ll uphold strict radiation safety, regulatory, and quality standards in a technology-driven environment that values innovation and continuous learning. Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies to support diagnostic decisions Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory protocols Operate and calibrate gamma cameras and related imaging equipment Verify patient identity, obtain histories, and explain procedures clearly Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and finance risk teams on data interpretation Maintain accurate imaging, dosage, and QA documentation within digital systems Monitor radiation exposure and adhere to all compliance and safety standards Support process improvement using imaging data to inform risk and analytics models Nuclear medicine imaging procedures Radiopharmaceutical preparation and handling Gamma camera and SPECT operation Quality control and equipment calibration Radiation safety and ALARA practices PACS and RIS/HIS systems Patient preparation and clinical documentation Regulatory compliance (NRC/State) IV placement and injection techniques Basic data analysis and digital workflows Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification Current state nuclear medicine technologist license (if applicable) BLS/CPR certification
