Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Blade Grinder Helper to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn. The Blade Grinder Helper will assist with grinding and finishing metal blades, removing rough edges, and preparing completed parts for inspection.
Responsibilities:
- Grind and smooth metal blades using designated equipment
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
- Visually inspect blades for quality and consistency
- Handle and move materials safely
- Follow work instructions and production requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Assist other production team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous grinding or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
- Comfortable working with machinery and metal components
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to complete required pre-employment screening
