Job Description:
Job Description We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry projects. As a Lead Commercial Carpenter, you will lay out, construct, install, and repair structures of metal studs, drywall, metal frames/doors, acoustical ceilings, and fixtures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The Lead Carpenter must also have strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team of carpenters to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise carpentry crews, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standardsMUST BE ABLE to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical drawings and lay outMUST BE ABLE to lay out metal framing, Insulation, Drywall/Taping, Install Frames & Doors, Acoustical Ceilings, and Millwork installation Must work with tools Possess own tool pouches and basic hand tools Calculate material requirements and measurements for projects Follow established safety rules and regulations
