Lead Early Childhood Teacher

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Lead Teachers for our Palatine center to guide young children’s learning and development. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate curriculum, oversee daily classroom routines, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. You will observe and document each child’s progress, communicate frequently with families, and collaborate with a supportive, inclusive team. As a Lead Teacher, you’ll help shape children’s early educational experiences while growing your career within a learning-focused organization. Plan and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned lessons and activities. Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment. Observe and assess children’s development, documenting progress and needs. Communicate regularly with families about learning goals and child progress. Mentor and guide assistant teachers and classroom staff. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and state licensing regulations. Collaborate with center leadership on curriculum and classroom improvements. Support inclusive practices that respect diverse backgrounds and abilities.
