Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). Every other weekend required.
Assignment Details:
The average daily census is 8-10 patients with a ratio of 3 rooms and 5 beds. This position requires 12-15 on-call days per month, including 2 weekend days (Saturday/Sunday). If assigned during major holidays, the candidate is expected to work one or two major holidays based on the assignment period.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience; first-timers are not accepted.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV.Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and rhythm interpretation required.
Experience with obtaining vitals and EKG settings necessary; pacemaker experience preferred.
Familiarity with Epic EMR system is required; knowledge of Pyxis and Merge is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Assist in cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, device implants, and other interventional procedures.
Monitor patient vitals and interpret cardiac rhythms.
Manage equipment including IABP and Impella devices.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations and standards.

Compliance / NotesFull compliance is required to start on time; if compliance is not met, a push back of 2 weeks may occur due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Candidates must be prepared for possible floating within the department and to a partner facility.
