APPLY NOWSecond Shift ASME Welder Highland Tank is looking for a 2nd Shift ASME Welder to join our team in Manheim, PA.
Job Duties:
- Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. Welding includes FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAWObtain company required certification for above within 60 days of hire
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
- Comfortable using electric grinding equipment
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Required Skills:
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
