Press Supervisor | Night Shift Aerotek is hiring an experienced Press Supervisor for a direct leadership opportunity in a high-volume printing and manufacturing environment. If you're a hands-on leader who knows how to run a pressroom, keep production moving, and get the best out of your team, this could be a great next step. You'll take ownership of the night shift, leading pressroom employees, monitoring production, solving problems, and making sure every job meets expectations for quality, safety, speed, and accuracy.
What You'll Be Doing:- Lead and support pressroom employees throughout the shift
- Set clear expectations around production, quality, performance, and safety
- Stay active on the production floor, monitoring equipment and employees
- Keep jobs moving by tracking production progress and identifying potential delays
- Coordinate downtime, scheduling changes, and production issues with other departments
- Assist press operators with make-ready, job progress, troubleshooting, and workflow
- Monitor ink and paper usage to maintain quality and consistency
- Train, develop, coach, and provide feedback to employees
- Help manage employee performance, morale, goal setting, and corrective action
- Maintain compliance with plant safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Communicate production updates and issues to the Pressroom Manager
- Partner with Human Resources regarding hiring, employee discipline, and terminations
- Support emergency response procedures and workplace injury protocols
- Help maintain a professional, team-focused environment
What We're Looking For:- 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience within the printing industry
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- High sense of urgency and ability to make decisions on the floor
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Outlook
Physical Requirements: This is an active production leadership role. Candidates should be comfortable:
- Frequently standing and walking throughout the production floor
- Bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and stooping as needed
- Inspecting printed materials for color, quality, and measurements
- Occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
- Working around production equipment in a manufacturing environment

- Work hours are from 10pm to 6am, Monday through Friday, in a temperature-controlled environment.
- This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr.
- Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
