RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft and file Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, 5)
Research new US GAAP and SEC accounting rules to see how they impact the companyOversee the XBRL tagging process for all SEC filingsMaintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls related to financial reporting processesPartner with the legal, investor relations, and subsidiary teams on disclosures and earnings releasesWork closely with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual auditsREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Masters of Accounting is preferableCPA license is required 8+ years combined in Big 4 public accounting and industry SEC reporting managementHands-on knowledge of SEC regulations and public company reporting requirements
