Senior Director of Data Science

Key responsibilities: Define and own the multi-year modeling roadmap, establishing strategic priorities aligned with business objectives Independently design and develop advanced machine learning models for credit card acquisition and risk management Lead model-development projects from problem definition through production implementation, ensuring alignment with business goalsRequired qualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; PhD strongly preferred 7+ years of experience developing statistical or machine learning models, preferably in financial services or consumer credit Demonstrated expertise in Python and/or R, with strong SQL skills Experience with advanced ML techniques such as gradient boosting, ensemble methods, and neural networks Strong understanding of credit-risk concepts and the full model-development lifecycle
