Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant responsible for SAP system administration, installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and technical support across SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform SAP Basis administration across development, QA, and production environments.
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems.
Manage SAP system monitoring, performance, availability, and troubleshooting.
Perform SAP kernel upgrades, support package updates, and system refreshes.
Manage SAP transports across system landscapes.
Perform SAP user, role, authorization, and security administration.
Monitor SAP jobs, system logs, dumps, locks, and system health.
Configure and maintain SAP instances, profiles, RFCs, and connectivity.
Support SAP database administration and troubleshooting.
Perform system copies, client copies, and SAP environment refreshes.
Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, batch job, and system availability issues.
Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, database, and security teams.
Participate in production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
Prepare technical documentation and follow change-management procedures.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration.
Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and landscape management.
Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Knowledge of SAP HANA database administration.
Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS).Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager / monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
Good understanding of SAP security, users, roles, and authorizations.
Experience with high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
Preferred Skills:
SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation experience.
SAP HANA administration and performance tuning.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with SAP Fiori, Gateway, and Web Dispatcher.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud / BTP environments.
SAP certification is a plus.
