Lead Night Shift Plant Maintenance

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists Inspect equipment for signs of wear Collaborate with team members to repair moving machine parts for equipment or transport materials between work areas Lubricate machines, machine parts or other equipment according to standards Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials through production processes Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed Work in a team environment Clean work areas Proper wear of personal protective equipment Notify supervisors of repairs needed

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent 4+ years related experience Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred Previous maintenance experience preferred Valid US driver's license

Skills: Ability to work with minimal supervision Knowledge of MSHA regulations Effective written and verbal communication Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance Physical Abilities Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round Ability to work in elevated areas General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling material
